Red Wing Heritage Logger #4585

I have absolutely loved every pair of boots I have gotten from Les Newman's and these are no different. Just as any good boot they have a decent break-in period but so far I have been impressed with the comfort and feel of the re-release of the heritage loggers and will be recommending them to friends!

Great boots for a great price, great company to buy from. I got a discount for being a first time customer and was able to get them for $333. These boots have a leather and a rubber midsole, which is a huge upgrade from Redwing's other boots like the Iron Rangers or Blacksmiths. The midsoles make this boot extremely comfortable under the foot, especially once you break in the leather midsole and very thick leather insole. I have the Roughnecks which have the same Vibram TC4 outsole, but lack the leather midsole, and it makes a big difference in comfort. These boots use Redwing's no. 8 last, which is the same as the Iron Rangers, and these fit similarly, but are a bit wider and bigger overall in the toe. I normally wear EE, and unfortunately these only come in D width, but they're plenty wide in the toe box, a bit narrow in the arch. These boots have very little arch support, very flat overall. They look amazing, the Briar Oil Slick Leather is one of the most beautiful leathers I've ever seen on a boot, looks great when taken care of, it's durable and water resistant. Get these boots while they are available.
