The 9060 Flatbox Beckman has some very distinctive, truly special features. First, there is the famous Black Klondike leather, which is unparalleled in it’s quality and texture. The brown base tan is overdyed with a layer of black and therefore over the years the top black color layer will wear off and more and more brown will show through, resulting in an absolutely unique patina. Furthermore, the 9060 features the classic Gro-Cord sole, which is a faithful replica of the soles used by Red Wing in the 1930s. The 9060 is completed by its authentic "Flatbox" shape, which is achieved by a construction that is made without a reinforced toe section. This is where the front part of the shoe will flatten out slightly over time, resulting in an authentic look of the 1930s and 1940s boots of that time.
